Site development

To support turbine sales, Tocardo develops complete tidal and river stream sites in our key markets and for certain project types. For that purpose, we team up with locally well embedded project development parties to connect our technical and implementation experience to the local situation.

Based on the wish of the customer, this can range from just the technical part (turbine, foundation structures, grid) to site pre-development (consenting process, grid connections) or the full development of a tidal stream farm (technical, pre-development, implementation, operating and financing). Currently, Tocardo is active in site development in Holland and UK, and is in negotiation with local development partners in other locations. Den Oever site, Netherlands - 1x Aqua Inshore T50-2800U (45kW), expansion to 9 units
Oosterschelde site, Netherlands - 6x Aqua Inshore T150-4500B (6x 150kW)
Texel site, Netherlands - 6x Aqua Offshore T150-10kB (6x 80kW)
Other sites in the Netherlands, based on both T50 and T150 turbines
Pentland Firth, demo site, UK - 20x Aqua Offshore T500-10kB (20x 500kW)
Pentland Firth, full commercial site, UK - Aqua Offshore T500 based
Other inshore, river and offshore locations throughout the UK, based on both the T150 and T500 turbines
